Meet Maggie, a highly motivated Master of Science in Business Analytics candidate from the University of Rochester, graduating this December. Her impressive track record includes working as a Data Analytics Specialist at a startup, where she develops and monitors a GA4 platform, skillfully integrates data from diverse channels, and delivers ad hoc analyses. Her prowess in data visualization with Tableau and Power BI further enhances her capabilities. Meet Andy Tao, a highly driven Business Analyst pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics from Simon Business School at the University of Rochester. With a passion for leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making, Andy excels in performing in-depth analysis, fostering collaborations, and delivering actionable insights. His experience includes spearheading marketing analytics initiatives, conducting industry research, and serving in leadership roles. Andy's strong technical skills in SAP, SAS, R, SQL, Python, and Tableau, combined with his self-motivated nature, make him a valuable asset in driving business growth.

  Marketing Analyst  

Carolyn is a Master of Science in Marketing Analytic student at the University of Rochester graduating this December. Upon finishing her undergraduate,  Carolyn stood out from several candidates and secured a position with Pepsi Co., Ltd. She performed demand prediction by using historical revenue data leading to pricing recommendation for 15 key accounts. Also analyzed in-store customer data using statistical techniques in R to create buyer personas on 5 attributes. As well as spearheaded the shelf placement strategy for 65+ stores by analyzing in-store sales data in Excel leading to 25% increase in revenue.

    Marketing Analyst

Alex is a Master of Science in Marketing Analytic student at the University of Rochester graduating this December. In 2020, the world instantly shut down as COVID-19 struck, offering me boundless time to reflect on my undergraduate years deeply. While hindsight is 20/20, I feel more motivated than ever to begin seeking opportunities to bridge my theoretical and practical knowledge through real-life work. As society is gradually healing from COVID-19, I think now is the perfect starting point to channel my energy into a more successful and fruitful future.

Sunny is pursuing her master's degree in Business Analytics at Simon Business School, University of Rochester.  Prior to coming to Rochester, Sunny worked at an Online Education Company as an operation manager and worked at a Healthcare Company as a project manager. Besides, Sunny also worked as a consultant in Simon Vision Consulting to help clients price flagship products and create repeatable customer profile.

    Business Development / Financial Analyst

Serena is pursuing her Master of Science degree at the University of Rochester Simon Business School graduating this December. She has been working as a financial analyst in China International Capital Corporation Limited and Market Insight Analyst in Nanjing CHERVON Industry Corporation Limited. She analyzed stock trends with Python, performing regressions on data to forecast future prices with 80% accuracy. Additionally, she is good at pricing model, price forecasting and can build financial model which suit for your company.

  Marketing Analyst

Kailyn is currently a Master of Science student at the University of Rochester Simon Business School graduating this December. Before joining LGFocus, she completed internships in Bank of East Asia and GuotaiJunan Securities. With extensive experience in financial research and analytics, Kailyn has great passion on helping companies in their business decisions. For her life outside of profession, Kailyn enjoys singing, domestic and international travel, and hiking.

Financial Assistant    

Yisong (Luke) Wang, currently a Master of Science in Finance Candidate of Simon Business School, University of Rochester. Before entering Simon, he got his bachelor degree in Applied Chemistry and minor in Finance. With deep knowledge of chemistry market as well as solid finance skills, Luke actively participated in market research and bond issuing project in the top Security Firms in China to enhance his professional skills. Except for his professional experience, Luke is also a certificated scuba diver and serving as volunteer in local law-enforcement and rescue agency in his free time.

Wendy is a Master of Science in Finance finance student at the University of Rochester graduating this December. Prior to coming to Rochester, Wendy worked at BoW as a credit analyst making lender decisions on small business loans. Wendy also works at a long, short hedge fund part time doing equity research. Wendy has her SIE, Series 7, and also studying for her CFA.

Fangdi is a results-oriented Business Analyst with a strong background in data analysis, business strategy, and problem-solving. With hands-on experience in statistical modeling, data cleaning, and dashboard development, she enjoys transforming complex data into actionable insights that support smarter decision-making.

Her analytical toolkit includes Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI, which she leverages to conduct in-depth analyses, build visualizations, and communicate findings clearly. Known for her adaptability, critical thinking, and attention to detail, Fangdi thrives in fast-paced, data-driven environments where curiosity meets impact.
